Top 3 Brunch Spots in German Village
If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat you know that I am pretty much obsessed with breakfast! For me, it's a ritual to start my day off on the right foot. It's a moment where I can focus all of my attention on the food and my husband whom I'm sharing it with - although I often share it will you guys too ;). With life being so busy, I look forward to that small pocket of time in the mornings where I get to slow down and be mindful. Here are my top three brunch spots in German Village.
First up is Kittie's Cakes! This bakery and cafe is one that I can't get enough of, they have two locations (German Village and Bexley) and I go to both of them just about every week. I've started calling my Wednesdays Cinnamon Roll Wednesdays in honor of the most delicious cinnamon rolls they have. Yesterday was St. Patrick's Day and they are serving Lucky Lattes all weekend - pictured above. The owners, Molly and Kelly, always seem to take the time to get to know their guests which is rare and refreshing.
Who doesn't love a French Bakery?! Aside from their obviously beautiful Macarons, their Croissants are to die for. This is a weekly jaunt of mine and it's also a great spot to stop by and pick up a cake to go for that dinner party that you forgot to buy a hostess gift for. Their classic latte game is strong which I greatly appreciate. And although I've never been to Paris, I can at least pretend while seated at one of their dainty marble tables.
So it's Sunday morning and you're in need of something more than just a croissant! Skillet is your German Village answer, it's my go to spot when I need a full breakfast. This place is small so you're going to want to get there early around 10am. I know we all want to sleep in Sunday morning, but it's worth waking up for. The menu is local farm-to-table so in addition to having a full stomach you'll also feel good about supporting farmers and producers right here in Ohio.
Hope you guys enjoyed this post! There are so many amazing spots in The Village, it was truly difficult to narrow it down to three. What's your favorite brunch spot?
